Teimour Bagirov

Currently Teimour heads ARTA’s expertise in corporate finance and investment banking.
Teimour Bagirov is one of the founders of ARTA Investment Partners and has been partner at the firm since its establishment in 2002. Prior to his current position Teimour spent four years with the Government of Ukraine as an advisor to the Vice Prime Minister and later on, to the Prime Minister of Ukraine. He was responsible for privatization and state ownership issues, investor relations and natural monopolies. Teimour was personally involved in a number of noteworthy government initiatives including major privatization projects, reforms in telecoms, oil & gas and the stock market.
In 2001-2002 he was First Deputy Chairman of TAS-Invest Bank where he was in charge of capital markets and investments.
From 2001 to 2006 he also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
Teimour graduated from the National University of Economics in 1995 and completed training courses in the University of Vienna (1992-1994) and Merrill Lynch, New York (1997).

Timur Khromaev
Partner
Mr. Khromaev supervises the brokerage and asset management department.
Prior to co-founding ARTA in 2002, Mr. Khromaev served in top ranking positions at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (1997-2001). His responsibilities included the implementation of the state debt policy in the domestic and foreign capital markets, optimization of the state commercial debt structure, coordination of the Ministry’s co-operation with the National Bank of Ukraine and the State Treasury, and elaboration of the legislative acts related to the state commercial debts.
Before joining the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Khromaev served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board at NRB-Ukraine, responsible for management of the bank’s Treasury and the Corporate Finance Department.
Previously, Mr. Khromaev held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board at another local bank –TAS-Invest Bank where he supervised Investment Banking and Corporate Finance Departments.
Mr. Khromaev received a B.A. in Economics from Union College, New York, USA in 1997. Also, Timur completed training in International Law at the Kyiv National Shevchenko University, Institute of International Relations (2002), and Cambridge University (1995).

Larisa Primenko, Director, Fixed Income
Ms. Primenko has been supervising ARTA fixed income expertise since 2003.
Since 1998 Larisa served as a senior specialist in the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Her core areas were sovereign Eurobond issues and international capital markets.
Since joining ARTA in 2003, Larisa has completed a number of bond placements and equity deals, participated in advisory projects in oil & gas and energy, transport, food & agriculture, pharmaceuticals, banking, as well as municipal and sovereign borrowings and debt management.
Larisa received Master Degree in Finance from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics; and Specialist Degree in Physics, National Shevchenko University, Kyiv. Larisa accomplished the Comprehensive Course: Microeconomics and Financial Analysis, Joint Vienna Institute, Austria.
Oleg Ganenko, Director, Corporate Finance
Since 2004, Mr. Ganenko has been responsible for ARTA’s M&A expertise.
Oleg participated in M&A transactions, financial strategic advisory and business valuation projects. Gained 7-year working experience in international banking. Oleg has completed a number of M&A and strategic advisory projects for banking and financial institutions, as well as in other sectors, such as: oil & gas, transport, retail, media, agriculture, heavy machinery.
Mr. Ganenko received a M.S. in Finance from CASS Business School, CITY University, London; Master of Sciences in International Management from Kyiv National Economic University; B.S. in Economics from Kyiv National Economic University.
Gleb Kabalnov, Head of Asset Management
Mr. Kabalnov heads ARTA’s asset management expertise. The scope of his responsibilities covers market portfolio monitoring, investment risks assessment, market assets evaluation and sectoral analysis.
Gleb has 7-year experience in the Ukrainian stock market. Prior to occupying his current position, Gleb worked at ARTA as an equity market expert. Before joining ARTA, Gleb worked as an asset manager in one of the Ukrainian investment companies covering the firm’s asset management business. He performed analysis of funds activities and PFTS listed companies, as well as developed in-depth companies and sectoral insights.
Mr. Kabalnov received Specialist Degree in International Economics from the Kharkiv State University of Economics.
